As a child I often followed my father in the vineyard. They enchanted me
the gnarled wood of the olive trees, the chirping of the cicadas and the tendrils.
Today, I find that sense of wonder every time I work the
leather: the texture and pungent scent of leather take me back there,
together with my father.
